🔍 What we are looking for
At IMA we are looking for an exceptional Chief Technology Officer, with full responsibility for product & tech delivery, who is ready to drive our growth!
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee software engineering, product development, and infrastructure, helping us scale and deliver impactful solutions across Europe.
- Set the technical vision and build the technical roadmap from launch to scale; including defining team goals, strategies and delivery dates that help IMA Health scale quickly and sustainably.
- Define the architecture and technical direction of our products, designing scalable solutions using AWS and serverless infrastructure, while addressing complex technical challenges and providing expert guidance.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional product and engineering teams, ensuring high standards in delivery, communication, and execution.
- Set a high bar and define best practices around coding methodologies, software development, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our technology infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the health tech industry and discover new technologies that yield a competitive advantage.
- Track, analyze and monitor KPIs to assess both technological and team’s performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in leading engineering and product teams (required).
- 5+ years of SaaS development experience using AWS serverless framework (required).
- Advanced technical skills and strong knowledge of relational database modelling, serverless environments and design patterns (required).
- Experience in start-ups or fast-growing organizations.
- Proficient in English and either Spanish or Catalan, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Strong strategic and business mindset.
